Get help with your job search from a volunteer JobBuddy
JobBuddies is a growing network of volunteers – all with personal experience of unemployment – who offer free one-on-one meetings to support your job search. Whether you need help figuring out your next move, writing a strong application, or simply gaining perspective you're not getting from your closest network, a JobBuddy can provide clarity, confidence, and a fresh set of eyes on your process. They can't get you a job, but they can ask the questions you haven't thought to ask yourself. The network is primarily Danish, but most buddies speak English – just reach out and ask.

Would you like to become a JobBuddy?
If you would like to help other English-speaking job seekers move forward in their process, sign up as a JobBuddy. Your nationality, background, and experience are not important. It is entirely up to you how much time you spend as a JobBuddy, but we expect that you will offer your help for a minimum of one hour per month.
Join the network and sign up for becoming a JobBuddy if you:
Speak and write fluent English
Have personally experienced a longer period of unemployment
Have the desire and time to help other job seekers
Are willing to do so on a voluntary basis, free of charge.
The story behind JobBuddies
JobBuddies was founded by Anton and Jacob – two buddies who worked together back in the 2000s, both of whom have experienced being unemployed. They later reconnected to create a network of volunteer mentors. We believe that voluntary, independent job conversations make a real difference. Our vision is to build a nationwide network that benefits job seekers, JobBuddies, and companies -ultimately helping more people in Denmark return to the labor market faster and at a lower cost.
